Aber HSG 4 Dairy System is a silage grass mixture for milk producers who are aiming for one or two high-quality cuts followed by the best possible rotational grazing.
The first cut will be mid-to-late May, with the option of a second cut approximately four to five weeks later, or alternatively, commence rotational grazing.

Note: Heading date average for Aber HSG 4 Dairy System is 1 June for Northern Ireland. When cutting for silage, aim to cut five to ten days before average heading date for optimum quality. Optimum spread of heading dates within mixtures for grazing and cutting results in better performance of leys.
