KWS Westfield x KWS Flint. Candidate variety for recommendation in Spring 2021. Hexham has completed 2 years DAFM official trials. Average yield in 2018/2019 = 108 which was 2 points higher than KWS Starlight. Similar height to Talisker with good straw strength. Strong overall disease resistance package, especially on yellow rust (8) and septoria (7). Late maturing. Slightly lower bushel weight than Talisker (76 KPH) with similar protein, hagberg and resistance to sprouting.
